Celestial BBQ Party

Celebrate the Great American Eclipse and join us at The Salt Lick BBQ for a family-friendly, celestial backyard BBQ party!

The last total eclipse in Central TX was in 1937, so we're celebrating with a once-in-a-lifetime event featuring live music, barbecue, and our signature Hill Country atmosphere.

Live music by Dale Watson and his Lonestars with very special guests Tomar and the FCs.

Entrance fee is $25 per vehicle and includes admission for all passengers. Limit two $25 vehicle passes per customer. Sorry, no RVs, buses, or oversized vehicles permitted. The first 1,000 people who arrive will receive a complimentary pair of solar glasses to watch the eclipse. Please note that entrance to the Salt Lick on April 8th, between 10 AM and 4 PM, will require a paid ticket.

Sloppy Nachos, Sausage Wraps, Pork Rib Boats, and Chopped Beef Sandwiches (with chips) will be available for purchase at the event along with a bar featuring beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Cash or credit cards accepted.

The Salt Lick restaurant will also be open with its regular menu for those who would like the ultimate BBQ experience.

This event is happening rain or shine.

Gates and parking open at 10 AM

Tomar & the FCs 11:30 - 1 PM

Enjoy the Eclipse from 1 PM - 2 PM

Dale Watson and his Lonestars 2 PM - 3:30 PM

Blankets and folding chairs

Prohibited Items:

No outside food or beverages

No weapons of any kind

No illicit substances

No pets, no dogs (service animals are permitted)

No RVs or oversized vehicles
